2. This tutorial is written for PowerPoint 2003. However, Custom Animations are available in the Slide Show menu in all earlier versions of PowerPoint. The screens are different and the animations will vary slightly, but the general concept is the same.

Add a Custom Animation

• Select Slide Show > Custom Animation... from the menu.

• Add a Custom Animation
• Select an Object on the Slide to Animate
• Add the First Animation Effect
• Modify an Animation Effect
• Re-Order Custom Animation Effects
• Other Custom Animation Effect Options
• Add Timings to Custom Animations
• Customize Text Animation Settings
• Preview Your Slide Show
