Several Slides? Just a Certain Part of the CD Track?

In PowerPoint 2007, you can play all or just a portion of a CD track over one or many slides. You decide when the CD track starts to play and when it will end.

Steps

  1. Make sure the audio CD is inserted in your CD drive.
  2. Click on the Insert tab of the ribbon.
  3. Click the drop down arrow under the Sound icon on the right side of the ribbon.
  4. Select Play CD Audio Track...
It should be noted that you must always have your CD inserted into the CD drive, in order for it to play in your presentation. Many people mistakenly believe that the CD track becomes embedded into the presentation. This is not the case.
