Choose the Slide Layout that Works Best
OpenOffice Impress offers many different slide layouts for your presentation. Selections include title slides, content layout slides, title and text slides to name a few.
If you are unsure of which slide type is which, hover your mouse over the thumbnail views of the slide layout in the task pane and the screen tip will tell you which type of slide you are currently on. Do not be concerned if you choose the wrong slide layout. You can manually change or delete objects on the slide, or simply click on a different slide layout.
