OpenOffice Impress Presentation Wizard

The first time you open OpenOffice Impress, the Presentation Wizard starts to assist you in beginning your first presentation.

There are three options for your presentation

1. Empty presentation
   
   
2. From template
   
   
   • Two templates are included with the program, each containing seven different slide starters to make the organization of your information easier. This is similar to the AutoContent Wizard in PowerPoint
     • Introducing a New Product
     • Recommendation of a Strategy
   
   
3. Open existing presentation

For this session, we will follow through the steps using the Empty presentation option.

Note - For future sessions with OpenOffice Impress, you may wish to check the option Do not show this wizard again if you are comfortable using the program. Otherwise, the wizard will start each time you open OpenOffice Impress.
