Sound Options

Sounds of all sorts can be added to PowerPoint presentations. You may wish to play a track from a CD or insert a sound file into your presentation. Sound files can be chosen from the Microsoft Clip Organizer within the program, or a file that resides on your computer. Recording a sound or a narration to help illustrate the features on your slides, is also one of the options.

Steps

  1. Choose Insert > Movies and Sounds from the menu.
  2. Select the type of sound you wish to add to the presentation.

  3. Insert Sound Dialog Box in PowerPoint
  4. Insert Sound from a File into Your Slide
  5. Play a CD AudioTrack During the Slide Show
  6. Play Only a Portion of a CD Audio Track
  7. Recording Sounds or Narrations
  8. Setting Sound Timings in the Slide Show
  9. Set Delay Timings on the Sounds
  10. Play Music or Sound Over Several PowerPoint Slides
