Add a New Slide

  1. Select Format > Slide Layout from the menu to add a new slide to a PowerPoint slide show.
    • The Slide Layout Task Pane is displayed on the right of the screen.


  2. In this pane, place your pointer on the Title and 2-column Text layout and click on the drop-down arrow that appears.

  3. Select Insert New Slide from the drop-down menu to add a slide to your presentation.

  4. Click on the title text box of the new slide and type Clouds.

  5. Click on the left text box and type the following text pressing the Enter key on the keyboard at the end of each line.
    • Formed when water vapor condenses due to falling temperatures
    • Made up of millions of water droplets or ice crystals

  6. Click on the right text box and type the following text.
    • Grouped according to their height above the ground
    • Four main groups - high, middle, low, and vertical clouds
