Make the Rectangle Transparent

In the Format AutoShape dialog box, make the following selections -

  • Drag the Transparency slider to the right until the transparency is approximately 75%. This will allow us to see the text under the rectangle during the design process. Later we will change the transparency to 100%, so the rectangle will become an invisible hyperlink.

  • "No Line" for the line color

  • Click OK when done.
