Space the Link Buttons Evenly

Once you have created the first row of buttons for the Web site, it is time to space them evenly across the Home page. For this we will use PowerPoint's Align and Distribute commands.

Steps

  1. Use your mouse to drag a "window" around the three link buttons. This will select all three objects at once.

  2. At the bottom left corner of the screen, click the Draw button.

  3. Choose Align and Distribute > Align Top from the menu.

  4. With the buttons still selected, click the Draw button once again.

  5. Choose Align and Distribute > Distribute Horizontally

  6. Use the Arrow keys on the keyboard to nudge the button group left or right to center them on the page.
