In PowerPoint, a screen clipping is a digital image of any portion of a computer screen. A screen clipping is similar to a screenshot.
A screen clipping can be used when you do not want to display an image of the whole computer screen on a slide, but just part of it for emphasis. This feature is new to PowerPoint 2010 and can be found on the Insert tab of the ribbon.
