Solution
Additional pictures must be added using the Format Photo Album dialog box. If you add a picture to an existing photo album by any other method, PowerPoint does not recognize this picture as being part of the original digital photo album, and it is deleted the next time you Update the photo album.- Choose Format > Photo Album from the menu.
- Click on the File/Disk button or the Scanner/Camera button to add an additional picture(s).
- Place the picture in the order desired by using the arrow keys to move the picture (see the previous step on how to reorder pictures).
- Click the Update button to apply the changes.
