Compress Pictures Warning Dialog Box

As a final warning before compressing your photos, PowerPoint warns that compressing photos will reduce the quality of the picture image. Choose to apply the optimization of the photos or to cancel.

You have the option to suppress this warning in future if you check that box.

Note - In my sample presentation, I used a photo album containing nine photos. These are my results.

  • before compressing photos, the file size was 15 MB
  • after compressing the pictures, the file size was 2.91 MB
