Use My Computer to Locate the Folder

Locate the Files to Unpack

You have used PowerPoint's Pack and Go feature to package your presentation and any additional files, so that it can be viewed on another computer. Now you need to Unpack the files on the second computer.

Using My Computer or Windows Explorer, locate the folder containing the pack and go files.

There should be a file named PNGSETUP (or PNGSETUP.EXE if you have chosen to show the file extensions on your computer).

Double click on this file to start the process.

  1. Use My Computer to Locate the Folder
  2. Error Message If Folder Name is Too Long
  3. Unpacking the Presentation Is Successful
  4. Locate the Presentation in the Files Unpacked
  5. Start the Unpacked PowerPoint Presentation
