Practice for the PowerPoint Macro

Before you create your macro to automate the task, you need to practice the steps and make sure exactly what you want to do.

In this example, we need to resize all of our pictures by a certain percentage. Try out resizing the picture on one slide until you are happy with the result.

Steps to resize a picture

  1. Right click on the picture and choose Format Picture... from the shortcut menu. (or click on the picture and then click the Format Picture button on the Picture toolbar).

  2. In the Format Picture dialog box, click on the Size tab and make the necessary changes from the options there.

  3. Click OK to complete the changes.
