A Sample PowerPoint Macro

You have taken wonderful photos with your new camera. You used a high resolution so that you have crisp and clear pictures. All the photos are the same size. However, the photos are much too large for the slides when you insert them into PowerPoint. How can you speed up the process of resizing them without doing the tedious task for each picture?

The answer - Make a macro to do the job for you.

Note - This process works in all versions from PowerPoint 97 - 2003.

Steps to create the macro

  1. Choose Insert > Picture > From File... from the menu.
  2. Locate the picture on your computer and click the Insert button.
  3. Repeat this process for each of your photos. Do not be concerned that the photos are too large for the slides at this point.
