While trying to recreate this problem, I played around with embedding the HTML code from the YouTube Video, into PowerPoint, and I also got this error message from time to time -- and for no good reason. It was especially annoying during my testing, that when I inserted a code a second time -- one that had been successful before -- I got the error message. So what gives?
The error message you may encounter reads as follows:
PowerPoint cannot insert a video from this embed code. Verify that the embed code is correct, and then try again.
