Change to a Different PowerPoint 2010 File Type

Option 3 - Save as Another File Types

This feature in the Change File Type section offers the same options as choosing File > Save As.... It is just another way to do the same task.

The PowerPoint file types mentioned on the three preceding pages are also shown in the drop down list of selections. However, many more saving options are also listed.

1. In the section Other File Types click on Save as Another File Type.
2. The Save As dialog box opens.
3. Edit the file name if desired.
4. Click the Save as type: text box to review alternative saving choices.
5. Scroll in the list to make your choice. A new file extension will be added at the end of the file name.
6. Click the Save button.
