Add Buttons to the PowerPoint 2010 Quick Access Toolbar in a Flash
We all have certain tasks in PowerPoint that we do over and over and usually there is a specific button to do this task. Sometimes though, the question you ask yourself is "Where is that button found again?" The solution to this problem is to add these frequently used buttons to the Quick Access Toolbar.
Where is the Quick Access Toolbar Located?
The Quick Access Toolbar is located in the top left corner of the PowerPoint screen, just above the ribbon.
How to Add Buttons to the Quick Access Toolbar
- Click on the tab of the ribbon which contains the button you wish to add to the quick access toolbar. In the example in the image above, I chose the Slide Show tab of the ribbon and will add the button to record the slide show.
- Right click on the button you wish to add to the quick access toolbar.
- Choose the option Add to Quick Access Toolbar.
- Note that the new button is added to the right end of the quick access toolbar. Now while creating your presentation, you can simply click on this button to quickly do that specific task.
