Charts Are Commonly Used in PowerPoint Slides
One of the most commonly used features shown on PowerPoint slides are charts. There are many different chart types available to reflect your particular type of content.
Clicking the Chart icon on any content type of slide in PowerPoint adds a generic chart to the PowerPoint 2010 slide. Additionally, the generic chart data is displayed in a datasheet. Editing this data will immediately reflect the changes in the chart.
The generic chart can be altered in many ways by choosing options from the toolbar shown above the chart. These options include chart type, and different ways to manipulate the data shown on the chart.
To edit the chart at a later time, simply double click on the chart on the slide. In the dialog box that appears, click the button Edit Existing. Edit your chart as you wish.
