Timing the Change from Black and White to Color

The desired effect in this slide show is for the black and white photo to change to color as you watch. To do this, timings must be set on the color photo.

PowerPoint All Versions
  1. Click on the color picture to select it.
  2. In the Custom Animations task pane, click the drop down arrow beside the animation in the list. This is the Fade animation you set on the previous page.
  3. Select Timing... from the list.
  4. In the dialog box that appears, make the following settings -
    • Start: With Previous
    • Set the Delay: to 1.5 or 2 seconds
  5. Click OK.
