Fade Into the Color Photo

Applying a custom animation to the upper, color photo will allow the black and white photo to fade into the color photo.

PowerPoint 2007
  1. Click on the color photo.
  2. On the Animations tab of the ribbon, click the Custom Animations button.
  3. In the Custom Animations task pane on the right of the screen, click Add Effect > Entrance > Fade. (If Fade is not in the list of effects, click the More Effects... option and select Fade from the list).

PowerPoint 2003 and earlier
  1. Right click on the color photo.
  2. From the shortcut menu, choose Custom Animation....
  3. In the Custom Animation task pane on the right of the screen, click Add Effect > Entrance > Fade. (If Fade is not in the list of effects, click the More Effects... option and select Fade from the list).
