Picture Formatting

Once the picture is placed in the correct location and you are happy with the size, you will now format the picture to fade it so that it becomes less distracting in the presentation.

In the example shown, I have enlarged the picture so that it takes over a large portion of the slide. The tree image was chosen for a presentation on creating a family tree.

1. Right click on the picture.
2. Choose Format Picture... from the shortcut menu.

• Show a Faded Picture in the Background of PowerPoint 2007 Slides
• Insert the ClipArt or Picture on the Slide Master for the Watermark
• Locate the ClipArt or Picture for the Watermark
• Move and Resize the Watermark ClipArt or Picture
• Format the Picture for a Watermark
• Fade the Picture for the Watermark
• Adjust the Color Brightness and Contrast of the Watermark
• Send the Watermark to the Back on the Slide Master
