It's Show time

Unlike earlier versions of PowerPoint, the Package for CD feature does not compress the presentation. As a result, you do not need to reverse that process.

PowerPoint 2007 simply creates a series of files on the CD or folder along with the PowerPoint viewer (if you chose to include that option).

If you created a CD ~

Simply insert the new CD in the computer that you will use for the presentation. The AUTORUN.INF file will start the presentation automatically for you.

If you created a folder ~

  1. Locate the folder that you created during the Package for CD process.
  2. Copy this folder to a USB flash drive to transport it to another computer.
  3. Once you have copied the folder onto the second computer, you can double click on the PowerPoint file in the list to start up PowerPoint and then start the show. Alternatively, you can right click on the file name and choose Show from the shortcut menu of options.
