Learn how to remove the numbers from a current presentation with these easy to follow instructions. Instructions in this article apply to PowerPoint 2019, 2016, 2013, 2010; and PowerPoint for Microsoft 365. Remove Slide Numbers Save the presentation using a different file name if you wish to retain the original presentation with the slide numbers. On the ribbon, select Insert. In the Text section, select Slide Number. The Header and Footer dialog box opens. Remove the checkmark next to Slide number. Select Apply to All to remove the slide number from all slides in your presentation. If the slide numbers were added one at a time to each slide (using a small graphic image, for example), delete the slide numbers from each individual slide. Was this page helpful?
