A reader asked:
My presentation is comprised of nearly 200 photos and I am worried about the increasing file size. Where do I look to check the file size of my PowerPoint presentation?
Answer:
The file size is one of the many different properties of a PowerPoint presentation. You are right to be concerned when your presentation is heavy with pictures. Many older computers (and "older" can mean simply a couple of years old) do not have the necessary resources to show a lengthy presentation, such as a photo album filled with memories.
Locate the PowerPoint File Size
- Choose File > Info from the ribbon.
- In the right pane of the window, the File Size is the first entry below the heading Properties. (See image above for clarity).
