Find and Replace Text on PowerPoint Slides
The scenario:
A new client is arriving to view a presentation. The presenter is ill and you have been asked to take over. This is not a problem for you except that the presentation indicates the speaker's name on all the slides. How can you quickly edit these many slides to show your name instead?
In the Editing section, at the right end of the Home tab of the ribbon you will see both the Find and Replace options.
The Find Button
The Find option is a quick way to locate a specific text string, anywhere in your presentation file. This includes any instances of that text string in the master slides.
The Replace Button
The Replace option allows you to quickly change existing text by replacing that text with a new text string. This text string could be a name, a phrase or a single word.
