Choose the Slide View that is Right for the Task

There are a variety of ways to view slides created in an OpenOffice Impress presentation. Choose the one that is right for the task at hand.

The Most Commonly Used Slide View

When you work on a presentation using OpenOffice Impress, you will spend a great deal of the your time creating and editing slides in Normal View. This view is the most commonly used view and is often referred to as slide view.

It is helpful when designing your presentation to work on a large slide, and so, when you first start OpenOffice Impress, the screen opens in normal view.
