Make Font Changes Using the Format Menu
You might hunt high and lo in the menus for fonts, without success. To change the text in OpenOffice Impress you need to look for the term "character". Using the menu to make font changes offers more options than simply using the font toolbar as in the previous step.
Select Format > Character... to open the Character dialog box.
