Deleting a Text Box on an OpenOffice Impress Slide

You Can Easily Delete Unwanted Graphic Objects from Slides

Text boxes or other graphic objects can be deleted using the mouse and the keyboard.

Steps to delete a text box

1. Click once on the text box to select it. Selection handles will appear around the perimeter of the text box.
   
   Note - If you double click in the text box, OpenOffice Impress assumes that you wish to add or edit text. In order to delete the whole text box, you must click only once on the text box to select it.
   
   
2. Press the Delete key on the keyboard.
