Insert Sound Dialog Box

When you choose to insert a sound into PowerPoint, a dialog box appears. Options are to have sound play Automatically or When Clicked.

Automatically will make the sound begin when the the sound icon appears on the slide.

When clicked will delay the sound until the mouse is clicked on the sound icon. This may not be the best choice, as the mouse must be placed precisely on top of the sound icon when clicked.

Note - It really does not matter at this time, which option is chosen. Either option can be altered later in the Timings dialog box. See Step 8 of this tutorial for details.

Once the choice has been made in the dialog box, the sound icon appears in the center of the PowerPoint slide.
