Note - Versions 2007 and 2003 only.

The Fonts tab allows you to choose a different character set, as well as proportional and fixed-width fonts.

If you choose to change the proportional font, be sure to select a font that is web friendly. This means that the font would be universally available on all computers. Good examples are Times New Roman, Arial and Verdana.

Fixed-width fonts are those fonts that work in the manner of typewriter. Each letter takes up the same amount of space, regardless of the size of the letter. It is a good idea to leave the default font -- Courier New -- as your choice.

If you choose to use a specific font that is available on your computer, but web surfers do not have that same font, the display of your webpage can be skewed or distorted as a result. Therefore, it is best to use only Web friendly fonts.
