Locate the Text File

Once you have saved the file created in the Notepad, or other text editor, you can now open this file in PowerPoint.

Steps

  1. Open your version of PowerPoint.

  2. Open the text file that you saved earlier .

  3. You will notice that each heading you have created is now an individual slide in PowerPoint. However, you will also notice, that sub headings that you had created, below each major heading, are also on their own slides. This is not what we want. We will fix this in the next step.

  4. Close the PowerPoint presentation without saving.
