Question: How Can I Make Changes to a Completed Movie in Windows Movie Maker?
A question from a reader:
I would like to be able to go back to earlier movies and make changes to the timeline (add new pictures / delete pictures/ add new background music and etc). Once I complete a movie I can't seem to go back and make changes to the original movie. Is there anything I can do to save the timeline/ storyboard in order to go back and make changes?

Answer:
The only way to edit a Windows Movie Maker file is to always save a copy of your working file. This working file is called a project and has a file extension of .MSWMM
If you have saved a final version of your movie in a movie format, and no longer have your original project file, your movie is no longer editable.
