Make a Family Tree in PowerPoint Using the Organization Chart

Select the Organization Chart in the Diagram Gallery

Choose default Organization Chart layout for the family tree

The Diagram Gallery dialog box offers 6 different chart types. By default, the organization chart is the one selected. Other options include Cycle diagram, Radial diagram, Pyramid diagram, Venn diagram and Target diagram.

Leave the default option selected and click the OK button to begin to create the family tree.

• Select a Content Layout Slide for Your Family Tree
• Use the PowerPoint Organization Chart for the Family Tree
• Select the Organization Chart in the Diagram Gallery
• Delete Extra Text Boxes in Organization Chart
• Add Extra Text Boxes and Your Family Name
• Add Your Parents' Names to the Family Tree
