Draw Link Buttons

Use the PowerPoint drawing tools on the Drawing toolbar at the bottom of the screen to make a link button. Shapes can be standard rectangles or circles or something more creative, using the shapes found in the AutoShapes list.

Once you are happy with your button, copy and paste the button twice more so that you have three identical buttons in a row.

Note - If you are planning to use all 16 of the Webquest topics in your Web site, then you would need to create four identical buttons.
Steps
  1. Click on the border of the button to select it.

  2. Choose Edit > Copy from the menu (or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C).

  3. Choose Edit > Paste from the menu (or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V).

  4. Drag the duplicate button to the side.

  5. Choose Edit > Paste once again.
You should now have three (or four) identical buttons.

Tip - It is even faster to create the identical buttons if you duplicate the first button.

  1. Click on the border of the button to select it.

  2. Choose Edit > Duplicate from the menu (or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + D).
