Note - This PowerPoint tutorial is the second of five, step by step tutorials in a series on Web Page Design Using PowerPoint.

The Home Page

For this Web site we will be creating a Home page by editing a PowerPoint Title slide. If your Web site contains many different sections, then it would be advisable to edit the Title Master slide, so that each section of your Web site would have a consistent look with a "home page" for each area. Changes made to the Title Master slide will affect any new slides created using the title slide format.

Let's Look at the Title Master

Any changes made to the Slide Master affect the Title Master as well. You may edit the Title Master further to reflect different choices on your title slide(s) only.

Note - To access the Title Master, you must first have the Slide Master open. Then choose Insert > New Title Master from the menu.

It is better to make any changes to the Title Master after you change the Slide Master, as later changes to the Slide Master will overwrite changes you have made to the Title Master.

Tip - Most Web sites contain only one Home page, so it is usually not necessary to access the Title Master when creating a Web site using PowerPoint.
