PowerPoint triggers are used as a tool for a single click (the trigger) on a graphic object on a slide, to start up another event.
Some examples:
  • Click on a specific column in a bar chart on the slide and a picture of the top salesperson of the month appears.
  • Click on a graphic object and an entirely different program starts.
  • Click on a picture of a lion and hear the lion roar.
See how easy it is to use PowerPoint Triggers. This short example tutorial will take you through the steps to click on a musical instrument and the sound of that instrument will play.
