Paste Special is a handy tool for copying and pasting text from another presentation or another program document into PowerPoint. There are several options for pasting the text, but my favorite is the paste link choice.
The paste link option allows PowerPoint to check the original source document to see if there were any changes. If changes were made to the original document, PowerPoint will then update the presentation with the new information. This feature makes sure that your presentation is always current.
This quick tutorial will take you through the steps of Using PowerPoint Paste Special Command to paste a link to the text of another document.
