PowerPoint 2010 automatically adds a black slide at the end of each presentation to let you know that the show is over. (In some versions in the past you had to specifically choose this option as it was not part of the default settings). But, in case your audience could not figure out that the show is over, PowerPoint tells you with a comment on the top of the last slide which says "End of slide show, click to exit". Thanks Microsoft for letting me know.
I was asked by a reader if there was a way to get rid of the comment on the last slide. Well yes and no. If you want to have the black slide at the end, you get the comment. If you choose not to have PowerPoint's black slide, then the show just ends. Did you notice that I emphasized the word "PowerPoint" in the last sentence?
