Using Screenshots in PowerPoint 2010

Why use a screenshot in your presentation?
Sometimes it is just easier to show rather than tell someone what you are trying to explain. If your presentation is referring to something from the internet or is a fine point about using a software, you can easily make a screenshot right in PowerPoint.

Here are just some of the benefits of using screenshots or screen clippings:
  • you can easily clarify the point you are making
  • retain the formatting of the original information
  • grab time sensitive information on the fly
  • screenshots will always remain as you made them and will never update, so you always have the original information
