Add a Date to a PowerPoint 2007 Presentation
Wednesday July 22, 2009
Why add a date and/or time to a PowerPoint presentation?
Time stamping your PowerPoint 2007 presentation allows you to be aware of the creation or delivery date of a specific presentation. You may also want to add a date and/or time in the footer of the presentation to keep track of which is the current version of your presentation, if you are working on more than one.
You can choose to add a fixed date or choose to have the date update automatically when the presentation is opened. The latter is a good choice when you are presenting a presentation over and over, but want it to look like it is the first time the slide show has been presented.
