Select Hidden Objects on PowerPoint Slides
Friday June 26, 2009
Why would you hide an object on a PowerPoint slide?
Design reasons may dictate that you do not want certain objects to appear on the slide -- for example, the sound icon that is placed on the slide when you insert music or sounds is not something that the audience generally needs to see. You can choose to hide this sound object or you may simply place a picture or clip art or other graphic object on top of it. The music will play, but the sound icon is not visible to your audience.
So, you proceed on and set timings on the graphic objects and rehearse the slide show, but then you decide that you would like the music to play over seven slides instead of the original five. The sound icon is hidden behind a picture. How do you select it to make the necessary change? Well, you will be surprised at how easy it is.
