Problems Inserting Flash Movies into PowerPoint?

Monday April 27, 2009
I've received a few emails lately about problems with inserting a Flash movie into PowerPoint. I couldn't replicate the problem, but one of my colleagues asked me just the other day about this same problem. In my tutorials on the steps to insert Flash movies into PowerPoint there is one step that seems to cause a problem. I refer in those tutorials to a setting in the Properties dialog box for (Custom). In the case of my friend, it was there one time and gone at a later date. The problem seemed to arise after updating the Flash Player on her computer. However -- good news. I figured out how to make the same settings manually and it only takes a minute more.
