Different Printing Options in PowerPoint
Monday May 19, 2008
As a member of the audience, I always find it helpful to receive a handout package when someone is giving a PowerPoint presentation. Printouts can be made with thumbnail versions of the whole slide show. In the print dialog box, this is the Handouts option, which is my favorite. Pages can be printed with several slides per sheet (6 is about the maximum you want to use, for easy reading), but the one I like the best is printing 3 slides per page. This choice prints lines beside the miniature slides so you can write notes of important points while the speaker is making the presentation.
Other options available are large versions of each slide, an outline of just the text on the slide and a notes page option. Read more about printing options in PowerPoint to find the best option to suit your needs.
